In 2006, Stephan Boltz saw something more than a retired piece of aviation equipment in the airplane trolley: the potential for a piece of furniture – mobile, versatile, with a story of its own.
That idea became an original. bordbar was among the first to turn airplane trolleys into design furniture, defining an entire category in the process.
