Our manufactory embodies the excellence of German craftsmanship, synonymous with quality, reliability, and precision. By combining the finest materials with a specialized team, we guarantee the highest quality standards and timeless designs for eternity.

Despite our international distribution channels, we place great value on sustainable relationships with customers and suppliers as well as organic company growth. We source some of our raw materials locally, fostering a close connection to the product and creating unique pieces tailored 100% to the customers' wishes.

bordbar Showroom

Transparency is a symbolic element for us, reflecting our understanding of openness, honesty, and quality. It shapes every aspect of our work and products.

This approach is also reflected in our new building: through a glass wall between the office and production, we create true transparency. Our entire team can interact during work, and visitors gain insight into our production processes. This open design promotes collaboration and information flow between different departments, allowing everyone to experience the creation process of our handcrafted bordbar products up close.

Additionally, we have set up a spacious showroom where we present our bordbar products and new releases. The showroom offers everyone the opportunity to experience our unique bordbars up close and get inspired by their design and functionality.

bordbar & Aviationtag

In 2015, Stephan Boltz, the CEO, had the vision to give decommissioned airplanes a new life. This led to the creation of the Aviationtag product. During this process, historical, retired airplanes are carefully dismantled to repurpose their outer skin as collectibles, keychains, and luggage tags. Each Aviationtag is a unique piece of aviation history in a handy pocket format, having undergone numerous take-offs, landings, and thousands of flight miles. The tags are strictly limited and come with a serial number and aircraft information.

The close connection between Aviationtag and bordbar lies in the fact that the materials for the Aviationtags come from decommissioned airplanes and are further processed at the bordbar production site in Cologne. There, the airplanes are carefully dismantled by hand, followed by cutting, punching, polishing, and precise laser engraving of all relevant data. Through this upcycling process, the aircraft aluminum transforms into a fascinating piece of aviation history.
